Full Moon

Sé que mi corazón te quiere porque palpita emocionado y contento cuando siente tu presencia.
Sé que mi piel te quiere porque tiembla con alegría cuando te acercas.
Mis labios te quieren porque los tuyos saben el lenguaje de llamarlos sin palabras.
No tengo dudas: todo mi ser te quiere, y quisiera saber si tú me quieres a mí con la misma intensidad, con la misma fuerza, con los mismos sueños para el porvenir.
Tengo que confesar que hasta el día en el que tú llegaste a mi vida yo no sabía lo que era el cariño.
Siempre pensé que se trataba de una atracción muy intensa, de una pasión incontrolable, de un deseo que las palabras no podían explicar.
Ahora me doy cuenta de que todo eso no es sino una mínima parte de lo que amar puede llegar a ser, y comienzo a comprender que el amor verdadero, encierra un profundo compromiso.
Ahora que comprendo todo eso, sé que mi corazón no solo te quiere con locura, sino también te ama perdidamente.

Full Moon

I know that my heart loves you because beats feel excited and happy when your presence.
I know my skin loves you because trembles with joy when you approach.
My lips want you because you know the language to call them speechless.
I have no doubts: all of me love you, and I wonder if you love me with the same intensity, with the same strength, with the same dreams for the future.
I have to confess that until the day you came into my life I did not know what love was.
I always thought it was a very intense attraction of uncontrollable passion, a desire that words could not explain.
Now I realize that all this is but a fraction of what love can be, and begin to understand that true love, encloses a deep commitment.
Now that I understand all that, I know my heart not only loves you dearly, but also loves you madly.

"Full Moon"

Here is the English translation. I hope to recreate as accurately as possible. As I said before in my others poems, it is very difficult to try to communicate in another language the same emotions and feelings that have been written in different language, so I hope I have done a good job. Believe me: it sounds, read, and has much more meaning and emotion in Spanish.
In the English version, if someone finds something wrong in the grammar or spelling, or a word that can replace to make it better, please let me know. I would really appreciate it.
